01
Support the weight, not just the silhouette
A cut-out can locate a bottle without supporting its base. Folded walls, bridges or a lower platform may be needed to carry the load. We identify where the product rests, where it may move and whether the closure or decorative details must stay free of pressure.
02
Leave space for removal
A close fit should not force the customer to pull on a pump or fragile cap. Finger notches, lifting tabs and the visible height of the product can make handling easier. Several products require enough spacing to prevent them touching when the pack is moved.
03
Assess the complete packaging
Paperboard inserts can reduce the need for some foam components, but suitability depends on the product and journey. Coatings, glue, printing and any other materials still matter when discussing recycling. Structure, material and protection are checked with a sample and the agreed transport conditions.
